Adult Training

  1. Go to the BSA National Training web site.

  2. Click on any picture to begin.

  3. You will need to log in or create an account.
    Provide the following information:
    Council Number: 047
    BSA ID Number: Found on the bottom of your registration card or by contacting Julie Heinz.

  4. Once logged in, select Training/E-Learning in the naviation area on the left.

  5. Select and complete the appropriate training.

    ALL ADULT LEADERS:
    - Youth Protection Training
    - Fast Start Training
    - This is Scouting (New Leader Essentials)
    - Weather Hazards
    - Position Specific Training

    SCOUTMASTER AND ASST. SM
    Above training, plus:
    - Scoutmaster Specific Training
    - Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills

  6. E-mail or give a print your certificate to Julie Heinz to process.

Additional training is needed for some leadership positions. Contact Julie Heinz for details.

What Makes a Trained Leader?
