| We have been helping at Camp Sacramento open and close the camp for several years. We have had 3 Eagle Scout projects there include Evan, Michael, and Eshan. This weekend we assisted with the set-up of their projects. We also helped with erosion control and defining paths.
Joseph, Ceasar, Eric, Ali, Anthony, Thomas shared one cabin and Carson, Max and Roland were in another.
The first project of the day was to install the removable rails from Eshan’s project. To start the project the decks had to be cleaned. Then it was time to set the rails up. Once the rail were in place out came the paint. There may have been more paint on Thomas and Anthony than on the rails.

| While a bunch of us were working on the cabin rails, Eric, Barbara and Nick were down at the archery range painting the lines with really bright orange spray paint. They also put up a parachute to catch the flying arrows. It was big. We also worked on erosion control and the paths through the camp.
At Twelve we had lunch and some free time on our hands we decides to go and play a game of ultimate foosball it was Thomas and Joseph against Anthony and Cesar. We scored back and forth the entire game.
When our free time was up we went back to erosion control and path work.
After dinner we went into the lodge and played food chain. Food chain is a game that you have to focus on keeping the beat and paying attention to others in the circle. It was like a game of duels and if you got caught off guard or wasn’t paying attention you got sent to the end of the food chain and had to work your way up to the top which is the hunter, then the bear, deer, elephant, don’t ask me, beaver, snake, bird, worm, mushroom. Ceasar and Ali were at the top of the food chain the longest.
The next day after breakfast we hiked up to lovers leap. It was an amazing view we took pictures and sat around for about a half hour. On our way back down we found a big patch of ice and we had a snowball fight it was fun but really hurt and my hands were frozen after that. When we arrived we packed the cars and left. On our way home we stopped for lunch.
