JUNE 2007 - Written by Eric, Troop Historian
On June 1-3 a group of scouts and their families went up to Camp Sacramento to perform community service. Some of the activities we all did were sewing curtains, defining trails, planting plants, and general cleanup of the area. We got a lot accomplished and enjoyed the work. The food provided was great.
To close out the weekend, a group of boys and adults went on a high adventure hike up Freel Peak. It is one of the highest peaks in the Lake Tahoe Basin reaching 10,881 ft. It was very tough but we all made it to the top. The weekend was a great success.
